Two years ago, Günther went viral on the internet, earning himself a nickname called ‘Hipster Grandpa’. He says that he developed a great interest in dancing during his old age, which helped him to maintain his health. In an interview with Süddeutsche Zeitung, Günther explained that ever since he started dancing, he was able to skin his other fitness programs, except for a bit of strength training on the side.

With his incredibly fashionable outfits, one can easily assume that Günther used to be a stylist. But in reality, he was a chef. When asked about being a stylist, he stated: “I would have liked that, yes. But I wasn’t someone who rebelled, I did what my parents told me to do.”
