The absolutely adorable photographs below are captured Dmitry Kokh, a photographer from Russia. The photos, which look like polar bears are staring to a distance from abandoned buildings, were actually taken at an isolated weather station. In order to capture these stunning images of polar bears, Kokh had to travel to the east part of the Russian Arctic. To reach there, he had to go on a lengthy expedition to the Kolyuchin Island in the Chukchi Sea.

Kokh states that capturing some great pictures of polar bears has always been one of his desires. Therefore, the main purpose of this long journey was that. The Wrangel Island is a place which greatly popular across the world for housing lots of bears. So, Kokh really hoped to meet the bears there. However, this year was different. Just as Kokh and his team passed by Kolyuchin Island close to the Northern coast of Chukotka, the spotted something unusual. In the windows that has been abandones, they saw some movements. When they went to take a closer look, they noticed that those movements were made by bears. It was the very first time that bears were found inside this building, so it was indeed a one-of-a-kind experience.
