He is known as “Dito”, meaning finger in Italian, to match the Ditology project he began in 2009. He disguised his fingers as famous characters taken from the news, historical events, arts, and politics to depict the Old Italian metaphor, “Hide myself behind my finger”. He believes that we mask ourselves behind “touch screens, mousepads and keyboards” as we are living in an era where everything is only a click of a finger away.
