Bear Cubs Make Adorable Sounds While Eating Apples

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away” is a famous saying among us. It somehow turns out that this applies to not only humans but to bear cubs too. Although this might be news to you, a load of apples makes a great snack to bear cubs.

John Fusco, a writer, producer, and animal lover, gave a truckload of apples for the black bear cubs at Kilham Bear Center, New Hampshire. When they saw the apples, the endearing cubs were over the moon, full of excitement. Fortunately, Fusco took a video of the adorable scene. In the video, we can see how the black bear cubs are making adorable sounds in unison, delighting over the apples. These sounds are almost like purring, and it shows how much they love the crunchy fruit.

The heartwarming video shared by Fusco on Twitter soon went viral, gaining over 600,000 views and 25,000 likes since it was initially uploaded. In the caption of the video, Fusco asked his audience if they had ever heard the “Sound of contentment” made by bears. However, most people have not. This is because getting too close to a wild bear is a rare occasion for humans, and it can even be life-threatening. These black bear cubs, however, are orphans, and they are being rehabilitated till they are fit to survive independently in the wild.

Rae Wynn-Grant, a conservation scientist and ecologist stated that the black bear cubs are surely growing up in a healthy environment. Their cooing shows us how great they feel. Donating food to the bear cubs like Fusco definitely helps to keep the cubs content. From their reactions, it’s obvious that they are greatly appreciative of Fusco’s gift. So, share your thoughts about this heartwarming story in the comments.
