Igor Loskutow is an award-winning chainsaw artist from Estonia. Igor is based in Germany and is a member of the chainsaw sculpture team named Husqvarna. Husqvarna attends events in Europe, presenting their really detailed and striking cutting skills. A breathtaking dragon bench is among Igor’s most recent creations. This piece, which truly boasts the exceptional skills of Igor, is definitely a masterpiece. One of the most captivating features of this fantastical dragon bench is the way it takes shape. The lengthy body of the mythical creatures forms the seat, while the head and the tail curls around in the sides. How the wings are carved is also incredibly impressive. One wing is used as the backrest while the other is dramatically placed around the sides. This magnificent creation is currently located at Igor’s home. However, this is not his attempt at creating a dragon bench.
In 2017, Igor crafted a dragon bench where the dragon’s head was made out of red-tinged wood. The rest of the bench is mocha-colored, beautifully matching with the flashy head. This is also proof of the artist’s extremely intricate cutting skills. From thin and smooth cuttings to thicker and bigger cuttings, this creation shows us that Igor indeed deserved to win the 2015 Huskycup World Title for his work. The way that the complete image of a magnificent dragon comes out as the final result is truly amazing.
