In English, these adorable birds are called the ‘bearded reedling’, and they are scientifically identified as Panurus biarmicus. They have two dark markings from the eyes to the beak, which looks similar to a mustache.

In addition to the pair of dark markings, their tit takes a strange oval shape. This characteristic feature makes these birds appear like a soft furball. Only the male birds possess ‘whiskers’. While female birds lack them, they have a relatively darker beak.
