SeQuoi Tenk or Quoi is an incredibly stunning chocolate-brown colored Siberian Husky. With his rare chocolate-brown fur and deep blue eyes, one can easily mistake him for a wild wolf. Although he’s 100% Siberian Husky, his wolf-like appearance is beneficial to him as he’s living a nomadic lifestyle. At the moment, Quoi is traveling with Nikki, his mom, searching for their new home. On Instagram, Nikki documents their adventures around the lower 48 of the United States. In Nikki’s Instagram posts, we can see breathtaking footage of Quoi exploring and enjoying the beautiful nature. Just after eight months of joining Instagram, Quoi was able to gain a whopping 22,000 followers.
Although the name “SeQuoi Tenk” sounds quite unusual, it’s very meaningful. Nikki believes that a name can shape a personality. Therefore, she named her pup “SeQuoi” which means a sequoia tree. She states that she wants her pup to be big, tall, and strong like a sequoia tree. The name “Tenk” is derived from “Tenko”, which means ‘heavenly fox’ in Japanese, and Quoi was given that name because Nikki wanted him to be sweet as well. Apart from an endearing white spot on his chest, Quoi is completely brown. Brown Siberian Huskies are very rare, which explains his immense popularity.
Although Nikki initially planned to adopt an older dog, getting the approval of the animal sanctuary was touch as she didn’t have a permanent home. Therefore, she had to get a pup. She states that although Quoi wasn’t the type of dog she was looking for, he’s exactly the dog she needs. She describes Quoi’s personality as ‘full of attitude and goofiness’.
