Miles revealed that he captured these adorable mice inside an indoor studio. He further stated: “We provide a service for photographers looking for high impact cute animal pictures, and using a purpose-built studio means that we are not weather dependent.” Clients can even request for the animals to be photographed outdoors.

Almost all of the animals that Miles photographs are captive bred. They will be released to the wild at a local nature reserve later. Miles and his team prefer to photograph captive-bred animals over wild animals. The reason for this is that captive-bred animals are more sustainable, and they can avoid disturbing the wild populations.

Each mouse receives a treat such as nectar of flowers or stamens during their session. This helps to take much more interesting close-up shots of the mice.
