If you’re leaving your beloved pet with a new pet sitter, usually there’s nothing to worry about. It’s natural to feel nervous, but most of the time, they can be fully trusted with pets. However, every once in a while, we come across irresponsible and undependable pet sitters that may even put out pets in danger.
Diego Chaves is the owner of an absolutely adorable Goldendoodle named Mac. Charles believed that he made the correct choice when he left Mac with a “specialist sitter”. But, he should have looked more into the so-called sitter’s background. Because of her irresponsible nature, the poor dog disappeared and lost its life. Although Chaves doesn’t know what exactly happened, getting Mac his justice is a must.
When Diego went out with his love for a few days, he decided to leave Mac with a pet sitter that lived close by. The caretaker told Chaves that her name was “Alyssa” and started taking care of Mac right away.
Initially, Alyssa sent updates about Mac to the couple. So, Chaves relaxed thinking that Mac was alright. However, when he returned on July 4th, things were terrible. Chaves waited for hours for Alyssa but she never turned up. That’s when he realized that Alyssa has lied to him.
Alyssa emailed Chaves the next day, describing what happened. She stated that while she handled some other task, Mac ran away. She also explained that she did not inform him sooner because she believed that she could find Mac first. Chaves didn’t buy this story, and as expected, he didn’t hear from her again.
Either way, Chaves decided to do some more research on “Alyssa” and he found out that many other people have had similar experiences with her. Because of the irresponsible sitter, many dogs have been abandoned. Also, Chaves discovered that her actual name was “Micaela” and that she had used various names. So, not only Mac, but the sitter too was nowhere to be found.
The night after Mac went missing, a neighboring vet called Chaves, informed him that his pet has been found. Sadly, although Chaves hurried to see his beloved pet, Mac couldn’t make it. He doesn’t know what exactly happened with Mac and the sitter, but he’s eager to uncover the truth. However, without learning the entire story, he doesn’t want anyone to bother the sitter. So, if you’re considering leaving your cherished pet with a sitter even for a few hours, make sure to do a proper background check. If not, things might end in tragedy.
