In the animal world, bears are considered dangerous. They are predatory animals and befriending them may not be a good idea. However, we can’t deny that bears too have kind and soft hearts. This wonderful story shows a wholesome, unique, and extraordinary relationship between a man and a black bear.
Patrick Conley lives in Asheville, North Carolina. In this area, black bears are very common. Also, they are usually comfortable around humans. Over the years, this black bear developed a strong friendship with Patrick. One day, something unexpected happened. This mama bear bought her precious babies to meet her dear friend.

At present, the bear population in the United States is on the rise. As a result, bears have adapted themselves to live in harmony with people. This mama bear named Simone comes out of the woods regularly to greet Patrick. However, when he saw the adorable cubs plodding along behind the mama bear, he couldn’t believe his eyes.

Since Simone and Patrick were close friends already, for Patrick, meeting her baby cubs was like meeting family members. Simone walked into Patrick’s porch with no hesitation, showing how close they are. The cubs hesitated a little but eventually followed their mama to greet Patrick.
